Following the success of two powerful and popular panel discussions on “The Importance of Black Men In Education” in both Newark and San Francisco, Education Pioneers will host two similar discussions in April. Held in both Memphis and New York City, the panel discussion, “The Importance of Black Men in Education: Power of Data,” will focus on the intersection of the opportunity gap and data. Specifically, the discussion will center on how data can help create and shift the narrative about the opportunity gap and how a lack of data-driven decision making can perpetuate inequity.
